Making your voice count

Throughout this magazine, you’ll read about improvements to repairs, complaints, customer communications and more. Many of those changes started with customer feedback.

Every year, thousands of customers share their views through surveys, consultations, customer groups and Our Voice. That feedback helps us understand what’s working, what could be better and where we should focus next.

Over the past year, customers have helped shape improvements to repairs services, influenced how we communicate during heating upgrades, improved the way we share building safety information, and helped shape our future plans.

One of the biggest conversations we’ve had was about what Great Places should focus on over the next 10 years. More than 1,200 customers shared their views, helping make sure our future priorities reflect what matters most to the people who live in our homes.

The great thing about getting involved is that it doesn’t have to take much time. Even a few minutes completing a survey can help shape future decisions and improvements.

The improvements we make are strongest when they’re shaped by the people who use our services every day, which is why we’re always keen to hear what matters most to you.

Customer Committee: making sure your voice is heard

Did you know a group of Great Places customers help shape decisions and help us focus on the issues that matter most to customers?

Our Customer Committee is made up mainly of customers who review our performance, challenge us to do better and make sure customer views are heard at the highest level of the organisation.

Over the past year, committee members have taken a close look at areas including repairs, complaints and anti-social behaviour. They’ve also helped shape important plans for the future and have used customer feedback to show where improvements are needed.

The committee’s latest annual report highlights the difference customer voices have made over the last 12 months and the impact customer involvement is having across Great Places. To share some of the year’s key achievements, two of our members have recorded a series of short videos reflecting on their experiences, the issues they’ve helped influence and why customer involvement matters.
