Managing moisture in your home
Everyday activities such as cooking, showering, drying clothes and even breathing create moisture in your home. If that moisture has nowhere to go, it can build up and lead to condensation, damp and mould.

We’ve listened: making repairs simpler
When something goes wrong in your home, you want it put right quickly, safely and with as little hassle as possible.
That’s why we’re making some changes to our repairs service from November. They’re designed to help us understand repair issues more quickly, provide the right support from the start and make it clearer what you can expect when you report a repair.
One of the biggest changes is the way we gather information. When you report a repair, we may ask a few extra questions about the problem and how it’s affecting your home. This will help us build a clearer picture from the outset, identify any risks and make sure we arrange the right repair as quickly as possible. It should also help us get things right first time wherever we can.
The changes will also help us identify issues that could affect your health, safety or wellbeing, including damp and mould, more quickly. They’ll also support better communication throughout the repairs process, so you’ll know what to expect.
We’re also launching a new repairs webpage in November, bringing together information about reporting repairs, emergency response times, damp and mould support, repair responsibilities and answers to frequently asked questions.
These improvements have been shaped by customer feedback and are part of our commitment to making our services easier to understand and helping keep homes safe and well maintained.
If you’re worried about the condition of your home, please get in touch. The sooner we know about a problem, the sooner we can work with you to put things right.
