Supporting you and your community

When customers talk to us about where they live, the things that matter most are simple: feeling safe, living in a neighbourhood that’s well cared for and knowing support is there when it’s needed.

That’s why we’re increasing our focus on the issues customers tell us matter most, including anti-social behaviour, financial pressures, health and wellbeing, and the rising cost of living.

Over the next few years, we’ll be taking earlier action to tackle problems, strengthening the support available to help people sustain their tenancy, and we’ll continue working with local organisations to create opportunities in our communities while investing in neighbourhoods so they remain places people are proud to call home.

Just as importantly, we’ll continue listening to customers and making sure your views help shape the decisions we make and the services we provide.

These priorities form the focus of our new Customer and Communities Strategy, and we’ll continue to keep you updated on the progress we make to improve and support our neighbourhoods over the next four years.

Ready for a change of scenery in a new home?

Homeswapper could be the answer! The mutual exchange scheme allows customers to exchange their homes with another person, whether they’re from another housing association or even in another part of the country.

Customers can create an advert for their current home, search for suitable matches, message other tenants securely and arrange viewings once you create an account on the website.

It also supports multi-swaps, where more than two households are involved in a chain, opening up more opportunities for customers to find a move that works for them.

You will need permission from Great Places before any exchange can go ahead, and you should check your tenancy agreement and eligibility before committing to a move.
