An update on our new Customer Committee

Back in November we launched our recruitment campaign to find up to seven customers to join our brand new Customer Committee. Thank you to all our customers who took the time to apply; we received a huge 95 applications in total!

Patrick Ricketts, our non-executive member from the Great Places Board, has now been announced as chair of the new committee, which aims to provide an important link between the Board and customers.

Interviews for the committee have now taken place with candidates from Sheffield, Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Oldham, Stockport and Manchester to ensure representation from across the regions that we cover. Our panel which included the chair of the committee, Patrick, our Director of Customer Experience Rachel Mills and two members of our Insight Scrutiny Group were really impressed with all the candidates that they spoke to.

We will be announcing our successful candidates soon so keep an eye out for more updates!

This is a really exciting time for Great Places as we take one step further in the creation of our Customer Committee to make sure that service updates and improvements are delivered effectively with customer feedback in mind.
