Investing in our homes
We’re committed to ensuring that our 25,000 homes remain great places to live for our customers.
Our team has been working on several major projects, including a £1 million renovation project at Clifford Court development in Heaviley, Stockport. The year-long project included major internal and external communal refurbishments, including new flooring decoration and updates to communal areas.
Cllr Graham Greenhalgh the Mayor of Stockport recently joined us at a festive celebration at Clifford Court to mark the completion of the project. He met with our Chief Executive, Matthew Harrison, and members of the project team and was given a tour of the renovated scheme spread across 10 blocks that provides both sheltered and rented accommodation. Other key projects include roofing repairs at our Old Ribbon Mill development in Macclesfield and improvements to our Windsor Road development in Levenshulme.
Improving the energy efficiency in our existing homes is also still a key focus with work progressing on our £3 million improvement works to our heat network that serves 299 of our customers in the Richmond Park area of Sheffield. In addition, we are starting to roll out our programme of energy-efficiency improvements to around 400 of our homes in Greater Manchester and Sheffield.
Customer feedback is crucial in our commitment to improving customer experience and we regularly ask our customers to complete surveys following work in their homes. Your feedback has also led to us including two customer-led quality questions in our new tender documents focusing on contractors’ levels of customer service and how they meet customer needs. In addition, recent customer research will help shape our communications and the information we share ahead of upcoming energy improvement works in customers’ homes.
2024 will be a busy year for our Assets team as we continue to deliver further projects to make your homes safer, greener and more efficient. We will continue to keep you updated as 2024’s programme progresses.
