Keeping your repair appointment
Around 90% of customers keep or change their repair appointment to be more convenient and one they can be at home for every month. This is very positive and is greatly appreciated.
However, some repairs appointments result in no access and due to the volume of repairs we carry out, missed appointments have a significant impact on our customers.
Each missed appointment costs around £50, which over a year totals around £350,000. That is our customers’ money, and it would be better spent on improving homes and communities or services rather than wasted on missed appointments. This equates to 7,000 repairs appointments that could be offered to other customers who are sometimes waiting more than four weeks for an appointment.
Please let us know if you can’t make an appointment.
You can now book and change most repairs on the MyPlace customer portal, via our website. We understand that circumstances can change so if you are not able to keep your repair appointment it is important that you tell us as soon as possible. You will receive a reminder the day before your appointment.
If you have an appointment to treat damp and mould in your home, it is important that we carry out this work as soon as possible as it can be harmful to your health. If you need to change your appointment, the fastest way to do this is by using the Chatabot feature on our website at www.greatplaces.org.uk. Alternatively, you can call us on 0300 123 1966.
You will need a MyPlace portal account to change your appointment on the portal. If you do not have one, you can register now on our website at www.greatplaces.org.uk/register
You will need your Tenancy Reference Number to register, which you can find on your account statement.
It is important to note that there must be an adult over the age of 18 at the property when we come to carry out your repair. To protect our customers and our operatives, we are not able to access your home if only children are home. If no adult is home, this would be a missed appointment and you will need to rebook it.
Here is how you can help:

- Make sure there is an adult at home when we come to carry out your repair
