Work is also continuing with our energy improvements programme which aims to meet environmental commitments by improving the energy efficiency in 3,015 of our homes, with a commitment to upgrade all homes by 2030. The plans include improving 450 homes over the next three years in Sheffield and a further 700 homes in the Greater Manchester area. Works are due to complete in 2028.

Work also continues to improve the efficiency of our communal heat networks. Our £3.3m project to upgrade the Richmond Park Heat Network in Sheffield is complete, and we are now looking to start work on making improvements to our heat network at Hutton Lodge in Manchester. This includes installing individual meters in customers' homes, allowing them to monitor their usage and be billed accurately for what they use. These improvements are set to begin in the next few months.

Great Places is committed to making improvements to your home when they are due. To ensure these upgrades are completed when needed, it's crucial that we have access to your home. If you have any concerns about granting us access for the planned improvement work, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We're here to help and can support where needed.

We look forward to updating you on our progress in future editions of My Great Place.
