Keeping you Covid safe
As Government restrictions and regulations continue to ease, we want to make sure all customers are comfortable with our approach.
Mask wearing and social distancing have been key to fighting Covid-19 safe but as this is no longer compulsory, we want you to let us know if there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable. If you require contact with us, such as a repair in your home, and would like it to be carried out with the same safety restrictions previously in place, please do tell us via email or when making your booking that you would like us to wear face masks and/or keep a safe distance. We are here to make sure you are as comfortable and safe as possible.
Fire safety in your homes
Fire safety is something we continue to work hard on and customers have reported very strongly that they want to keep up to date with the safety of their homes and communities.
We have been carrying out extensive surveys across homes and will continue to do so, to identify Fire safety in your homes work that is required to support fire safety.
Fire safety work carried out as part of our investment programme includes reinstalling fire detectors in customers’ homes. Where needed, some customers will have doors replaced also. We estimate an end of- year spend of £2.7M on carrying out these works, going up to £4.3M for 2022/23.
Local fire and rescue stations continue to carry out routine Fire Service Inspections of blocks of flats, in many cases with minor works required.
